Max a Toy Manchester Terrier, in New Jersey, is about 10 years old. He is still very active and spry
but his eye sight may not be as good as it once was. He
loves to go for walks, is very good on leash and knows basic
commands. He will bark if he needs to go out and thinks you
have forgotten about him. He will occasionally mark his
territory inside so should wear a belly band around the
house for the first few days until he gets used to his new
surroundings. "Please contact Michelle Barlak at michelle@bleusprings.net for more information." |

| While he is not aggressive with children, he does not like the way they handle him and would be happy in a home without children. He doesn't like the antics of hyper dogs and would do best in a home with a calm female dog or as an only dog. Due to his age he is sensitive to cold and prefers to wear coats and sweaters in the winter. He is very affectionate and loves to sleep next to you on the bed or beside you on the couch and will beg you to pet him. | ||
| Jesse is being foster in Tennessee. Jesse is a 10 yr old male Toy Manchester Terrier. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His owner had to go into a nursing home. He is a very sweet boy. Contact Debbie for more information jazzyjlb@msn.com |

The dogs we take into rescue are re-homed in what we call 'forever homes' but first any Manchester taken into AMTC Rescue is placed in a 'foster home' - and while in the foster home, the dog is vet checked for heartworms, parasites, and other possible medical conditions, spayed/neutered and given lots of love and attention until a forever home is found. Apply to foster through our application process (Word) or (Adobe).
Below are courtesy listings of other manchesters that are available for homes.

| "Bubba is a 25 pound, Senior Male Manchester Terrier located in a No Kill shelter in Auburn, Nebraska. " Email: hua@hua.org Bubba was rescued from a breeder who had too many dogs to care for properly. He is good with dogs and up to date with shots He is a kindly old gentleman, quite spry and very curious. He is almost blind but it doesn't slow him down. He loves to investigate his surroundings, often with his nose held high to detect anything (especially a good treat) that he should be particularly aware of. The sun room is his favorite because he can feel the sun shine through all of the glass and also get plenty of food, love and hugs. Bubba invites you to visit him on his very own web page at: http://www.hua.org/Dogs-For-Adoption/Bubba.html |

| You couldn't ask for a sweeter MinPin. "Mario" (formerly
known as "Tank") has mellowed with age, although he is still
spirited and swaggers with the best of them. He was very
outgoing and friendly toward the photographer.

| Judson: 3 yr old black & tan male, to be
neutered 9/10, undocked tail and uncropped ears.
12", 12 lb. Shots up-to-date. Meet Judson, aka Jud. Even though this handsome little fella was rescued and is being fostered by IMPS, he is actually a Manchester Terrier. Jud is a well-behaved and mild-mannered dog that has been an absolute pleasure to foster. He is great with the other dogs in his foster home and, as seen in the photo, he is terrific with small children. Jud needs to gain a pound or two, but should always remain in sleek physical shape. Jud doesn't require constant attention or affection and can occupy himself with squeaky toys and balls for many hours. Jud is not much of a lap dog, but he would be an ideal addition to an active family, particularly those with children who need a training buddy/coach to help them run soccer drills. Jud actually dribbles a ball (using his nose) like a soccer player and enjoys passing and retrieving balls (email his foster mom for video links!). This handsome little guy has it all! He is housebroken, knows some basic commands, is a fantastic passenger in the car, is ultra-gentle when taking treats from people's hands and adjusts very quickly to new surroundings. If all foster dogs were this easy, I would have 10 foster dogs in my house! Jud has required expensive dental surgery to treat some infected and abscessed molar teeth, but with the treatment complete he will be a healthy and happy boy. If you would like to make a donation to help defray the cost of this very costly treatment, please visit http://www.minpinrescue.org/donations.html Note: Judson is located in Homestead, FL - and we will not fly this boy. IMPS Tag: 21663 ADD DATE: 09/02/10 http://www.minpinrescue.org/dogs1.html#FL If you wish to adopt, please fill out our IMPS Min Pin Adoption Application If you have previously submitted an Application form, there is no need to re-apply.
